Time for me to pack and go
I've walked the creaky stairs
All mementos there for me
Treasures of my heirs

Pair of shoes that Grandma wore
In her day so divine
Buttoned up and looking good
So stylishly designed

There upon the treasure chest
I placed a Christening hat
One that everyone had shared
So much love in that

Pretty frame Mom sent to me
Right before she died
Photo of her sweet Grandma
Tucked lovingly inside

Little dolls dressed up so grand
So carefully I kept
Remembrances of long ago
I never will forget

Silver flute my Grandpa owned
The one so shiny bright
The one his Mama gave to him
That brought him such delight

Diaries of long ago
That I will sit and read
Journals born with special love
Of life they all journeyed

Slowly as I turn each page
Remembrances now grow
Times of past now live again
My heart their soft pillow.

These are some vintage photos mostly of Delima Goodbout's (Nowe) family.

This is my grandfather Ernest George Goodbout, circa 1933.

This is a picture of my grandparents, Delima and Ernest on the left with Phyllis and Delima's sister Edna and her husband Gerard (I love the hat!) and their baby, circa 1932.

This is a photo of Lea Lambert, Ernest Goobout's mother. (I am not sure who the children are? If any one knows, let me know!!

This is a photo of Richard Goodbout, circa 1947.

This looks like a "generation" photo. I am not sure who the woman sitting with the small child is, but the the older woman to the left is Delima LaFlam, Delima Goodbout's grandmother and the lady next to her is Rosie Wright.

This photo is a picture of my great Aunt Judy Goodbout, circa 1935.
