A day off, ha!
First day off from work since vacation, actually, I've only worked one day since we got back, but...all I did today was work around the house, mowing the lawn, weeding gardens and picking veggies from our vegetable garden. Pulled 8 eggs from the chicken coop and the fact that we only have one chicken says we haven't checked the coop lately!! LOL
Speaking of that chicken, she is worse than a little puppy dog. Follows us everywhere we go and even when I am on the lawn tractor. She won't even get out of the way, you have to shew her away!!
The girls have been gone all week out to Mom's, spending time with their Aunt. She flies home tomorrow. Her new boyfriend seems like a pretty nice guy, says he'd like to move up here and go to nursing school. I didn't say anything, but I thought to myself, "Good luck getting Heather to move back north!" But more power to him if he can do it. I think he'd make a good nurse actually, was kind of surprised he was interested in doing that.
Work the next two days then off the weekend. Planning on getting these flower gardens back in order. They are so overgrown with weeds it's not even funny. I wish the flowers grew like those darn weeds do!
I've mentioned friends of mine who lost their daughter a couple of weeks ago and wanted to share that I have made a memorial page for them to remember her by. It seems to have brought them some much needed comfort and I am so glad it has. If you'd like to visit it is here...
Well, guess that is all for now, off to a cook out and to relax a bit!
