These hot summer days and interesting little distractions
Thank goodness the weather has cooled off a bit. The humidity is nill, it's warm, but so much more bearable.
Finally got the kids back home last night after a week hiatus. If Devon could have had her way she would have stayed away longer! As it is, they are still sleeping this morning and I've got plans today... to clean the porch off! Most of the clutter out there is theirs so I think it's quite appropriate that they help me!
Stood behind Donald Sutherland this morning in our very small town post office. I didn't realize it was him until the post mistress asked him if he was clean shaven for his newest role and he said, "Yeah." She then told him she really liked the look, then he turned around, gave me a very serious look, said goodbye to the post lady, called her by name and she said, "See you Donald." And he left.
Pretty cool hah! And imagine, I live in a tiny little border town in northern Vermont, but I've always heard that he has a camp in Canada somewhere close to Beebe Plain Vermont.
In other news, I'm contemplating changing the look here again. Just not sure what I want yet. I'm searching the web for pictures and have actually posted a few of my shots at Dreamstime to see if they will be accepted as stock photography for that site. I'm anxious to see if they are accepted or not!

That is WAY cool about the stardom stuff in the post office! HA! He's such a creepy guy!! LOL!
I'm glad it's cooled off! It's hotter'n snot here. ;) Heat index was 110 today & more of that predicted. GUH! We're not used to that!
I just hope it doesn't kill everything in the garden, y'know?! Grr!
Hope they take your pix. I'm curious what kind of stuff you submitted. I have some coolish sky shots that *I* love. Dunno if anyone else would like 'em, tho. *heh*
