Things on my mind
I finally made my donations to the Red Cross today. One to the Katrina Fund and one to the National Disaster Fund. I've been so bad about getting this done and then with this latest disaster in Pakistan it made me realize, I hadn't done anything yet! So, that is done. It's not much, but it will help I am sure.
I'm worrying about my oldest brother these days and he's in my prayers alot! No, he's not sick or anything, Thank the Lord, but in other ways, many ways, he has a lot of other problems and I want him to see that family is important, HIS family. I want him to find a decent job and get his finances back in order. He's on the very edge of losing his vehicles and he just doesn't understand what kind of trouble he is in with his money situation. He doesn't drink or do drugs, but he's very immature and disabled with deafness and I don't think he fully understands things as he should and I think he often times is taken advantage of.
My prayer is for him to come to his family and ask for their help and then make a conscience effort to get his life back on track. So, that is my biggest prayer these days.
In other thoughts, I'm thinking about the holidays. I just LOVE the holidays and want to do something different this year and something cheaper! I am thinking books and homemade goodies for everyone! And of course, ornaments. I'm thinking apple pies and chocolate chip brownies with cream cheese filling. Easy and delicious!
Well, guess that is all there is to ponder at the moment!
Geannie, I sure hope you get your site back up and soon!!!

I hope your prayers are answered about your dear brother.
Holidays are very fun but the expense has really taken some of the heart out of it. Books are a wonderful idea along with goodies. I just love getting ornaments. Every year I give an ornament to my special people on my list. It is something you can save and every year get out and remember when and where you got such a great ornament.
