Gardening ...ALL DAY
I was up early this morning, not long after Andy got up around 7:15. Usually we sleep in a little on our weekends off, but this morning we were beckoned up rather early!
Had a quick breakfast and checked my email, facebook and did some housework/laundry and then it was off to the beautiful outdoors! And what a gorgeous day it was. The sun was shining and I got my first bit of color for the season while weeding, planting and mulching!
Hannah and I went to a couple of different flower shops to look for some more perennials and a nice big flowering petuna for out by the mailbox. I spent most of the morning and early afternoon gardening away and even planted more cucumbers and our squash in the veggie garden. Andy worked all day too, finished the front of the house where the porch needed some repairs and worked in the yard and then tonight was working more on the old trailer he got for his rowboat. Soon we can hook it up and get it out on the lake to do some fishing.
It clouded over some around 4 and I felt a few rain drops when I was taking in the laundry from the clothes line, but it didn't amount to much. It's been a great weekend so far and tonight I'm tired and ready to get to bed...
