Summer's End
So the summer of 2011 is winding down -- it's been a nice one -- I've changed jobs twice since February!! I believe it was meant to be and that God has his plans for me as well -- I've moved into a new line of nursing so to speak and I do pray it's the right one for me at this moment -- I needed a change -- desperately! So far -- so GOOD!
Devon is off living her life in FL -- making her way and sowing those oats -- as always I ask the Lord for her continued safety and refuge during this journey --
Hannah will be going into the 5th grade this fall -- WOW!! Where has the time gone?? She is actually looking forward to school starting this year!! That's a first for Miss Hannah!! She went to some tutoring lessons for math this summer and kept up with her reading -- some!
We visited the islands this summer -- N. Hero and Alburgh and visited with our great friends Dodi and Bob -- spent an afternoon out on Lake Champlain fishing and just enjoying the day -- had great fun! Then the weekend following we went to the KOA in N. Woodstock and stayed three nights. Did Whale's Tale one VERY HOT day -- refreshing, but SO hot! When we got to the car that afternoon it was 98 degrees!! Enjoyed visiting with Val and had some great ice cream too!
Our wood is in for the winter -- Oh how I hate to see winter come! The older I get the less and less I like to see winter! I'd rather be in the Keys!!
Next month we hope to visit CT and go to a fair down there and spend some time with Anita --
Summers here in Vermont sure do fly!! Now the leaves are beginning to turn already! Autumn has made it's first subtle signs known!
